CONNECTICUT BUSINESS DAY
On Wednesday March 25th, Albert Bros. Inc., participated in Connecticut Business Day at the state Capitol. Sponsored by Connecticut Business and Industry Association and supported by the Smaller Manufacturers Association, Waterbury Chamber and other chambers around the state. Many important issues were discussed with legislators including Transportation – Rail, Freight and Passenger, Highways and Ports. Other topics discussed were Labor and Tax issues and support for Manufacturing.

The program included:
- Roundtable discussion between legislative leaders and business representatives
- Top issues breakouts focusing on the state budget, transportation, and labor and employment
- Regional meetings between legislators and their constituents
Hanging in the balance this year is whether policymakers will make the right decisions to get the state back on track. With the state’s economy strengthening, now is not the time to put the brakes on job growth.
Connecticut Business Day is sponsored by CBIA and the Connecticut Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, and supported by the CT20x17 campaign.
